UKCLE professional development seminars

UKCLE is able to offer advice and input for law schools on a range of learning and teaching topics. Whatever your development needs, contact us. Events can be tailored to the specific requirements of individual departments but we are also happy to run ‘regional’ events for groups of law schools with common development needs.

Topics can include:

• curriculum development
• support for new academic staff
• assessment
• e-learning
• embedding employability and enterprise within the curriculum
• diversity and widening participation, including retention and accessibility issues

Each seminar is tailored to meet specific requirements and costs are calculated on an individual basis, taking into account budgetary constraints. Where funding for an event is problematic it may be possible to link with other law schools to share costs. This will have the added benefit of offering even greater opportunity for practice sharing between institutions.
